7. Indent of grafts :

 It has been proposed for plantation in respect of Sevashram/ Ashram/ High Schools. Proposal have been send to Horticulturalist, Jharsuguda in order to supply 400 numbers of grafts before rainy season. WEO’s are asked to instruct teachers concern to prepare pit for plantation.

8. Salary :

 At present 59 Sevaks are working in different Sevashram. Besides 19 SSs have been engaged. At present 17 no. of Sevaks post are laying vacant.  Salary have been paid upto April-2006 in respect of Sevak & Ashram school teachers. The SSs have been paid upto March-2006. No allotments have been received for Welfare Establishment.

9. Convene of District Level Meeting :

            (a)    District Level Task Force Committee Meeting.

(b)   District Level Standing Committee Meeting on welfare of minorities.

(c)    District Level Vigilance & Monitoring Committee Meeting

 The District Level Task Force Committee Meeting for first quarter was held on dt.19.01.2006 and for the 2nd quarter it has been proposed to hold the meeting on dt.23.6.06. Similarly the District Level Standing Committee Meeting for the welfare of minorities was held on dt.20.1.06 dt. 04.02.2006, but the District Level Vigilance & Monitoring Committee Meeting could not be held due to Assembly & Parliament session and the same will be held after the foresaid session is over.

10. Disposal of Assembly Questions :

 During the year 2005-06 40 nos of assembly question have been received and complied. There is no pendency.

11. Display of Hoarding, pamphlets & POA & PCR Act :

 One hoarding has already been displayed in the Collectorate premises on POA & PCR Act to create awareness among the general public. In this connection 1000 pamplets have been distributed in different blocks.

12. Inspection of Welfare Section of Blocks :

 All the blocks have been covered. All the welfare section of the blocks are inspected during the year 2005-06.

13. The half-yearly of own office was conducted on 21.01.2006 and the inspection note has since been released vide memo no. 601, dt. 24.04.2006.

14. MADA Scheme and Article-275(1) :

 Tentative Annual Action Plan for 2006-07 have been sent to SSD Department for onwards transmission to Govt. of India for released of funds. 

15. OSFDC matters :

New Swarnima: Two no. of cases have been sanctioned and financed under New Swarnima Scheme out of three cases during last year i.e.2005-06.                      

            During 2005-06 the target for the collection was fixed by MD, OSFDC was Rs. 15 Lakhs. In the mean time a sum of Rs. 21 Lakh has been recovered and deposited with quarter concerned. However DA, OSFDC is to reconcile with the balance amount and ensure the correctness of the amount deposited.

19. Inter Caste Marriage :

            Two number of cases have been recommended to Govt. in SSD Department for release of incentives vide this office letter no.223, dt.20.2.2006.

20. Atrocities :

            Five number of cases have been recommended to Govt. in SSD Department after joint enquiry for release of financial assistance to the victims vide this office letter no.718, dt.31.5.2006.

21. NT Books :

            SSA provides free NT Books to all students of primary & upper primary section. 

22. PDS (Mess for boarders) :

            Subsidized rice is being supplied to three High schools and two Ashram schools for consumption of boarders. But it is seen that wheat is being allotted to Hostels which they do not want to lift just because it will be difficult to provide bread to all inmates. 

23. ORV :

            ORV verification will be done as per the programme for 2006 (file is under progress).
