REVENUE DEPARTMENT

The district of  Jharsuguda was created on 1.1.94 with its headquarter at Jharsuguda vide Revenue and Excise Deptt. Notification No.56413/R dt.22.12.93.The district was carved out of the undivided Sambalpur district. It is bound by Raigarh District of Chhatisgarh State in West, Sundergarh district in North and Sambalpur and Bargarh district in South and East.
