National Highway Division,Jharsuguda
The National Highway Division Jharsuguda created in the
year 1999 has got a jurisdiction of 156/436km length of National Highway 200, which
starts from Kanaktora in Jharsuguda district bordering Chatisgarh State and
ends at Tileibani at 156/436 km touching
NH -6 . National Highway No 200 has become a very important National
Highway in the state of Orissa in view of the current rapid Industrialization.
It passes through major cities of Chhatisgarh State such as Raipur, Bilashpur
& Raigarh and of Orissa State such as Jharsuguda, Kuchinda, Deogarh,
Kaniha, Kamakshanagar & Chandikhol. It connects NH 6 at Raipur
& NH -5 at chandikhol after touching NH -6 once again at 156/436
km.at Tileibani. Out of this 156/436
km, 105 km length passes through Jharsuguda
district 38 km length passes through Kuchinda sub-Division of Sambalpur
District and rest 13.436 km passes through Deogarh District.
